MULTITEL

Multitel is a Belgian Research & Technology Organisation (RTO) with over 25 years of experience and expertise in the development, testing and validation of AI systems, including AI intended for medical and other high-risk applications. Its AI department combines expertise in machine learning, Trustworthy and Certifiable AI, dataset and model evaluation, robustness, uncertainty estimation, explainability and requirements-based validation.

Multitel develops AI components for medical applications with validation, traceability and integration into the medical-device lifecycle in mind. Its technical development approach can incorporate end-to-end requirements traceability, verification and validation, reproducible development practices and risk-aware design.

Through its AI Trust Lab and its participation in AI standardisation activities, including CEN-CENELEC JTC 21, Multitel follows the evolution of technical requirements and standards applicable to high-risk AI. This combination of AI development, testing and standardisation expertise enables Multitel to help technology developers anticipate how regulatory constraints translate into concrete technical development and validation activities.
