This premier event, powered by Bits & Pretzels and co-founded by EIT Health and Roche, will feature Prof. Petra Ritter discussing the role of the European Health Data Space in AI deployment.

Held in the vibrant city of Munich, the health.tech Conference 2024 will take place on June 5-6 at the International Congress Center Messe. This event, powered by Bits & Pretzels and co-founded by EIT Health and Roche, is set to gather over 3,500 of Europe’s brightest healthtech innovators, including start-up founders, investors, healthcare providers, and corporate executives.

Attendees will explore critical pillars shaping the future of healthcare, such as Digital Infrastructure, Patient-Centric Care, and Building Resilient Health Systems, through a series of engaging and insightful sessions.

We are proud to highlight that Prof. Petra Ritter, participating as the TEF-Health coordinator, will be a featured speaker in a pivotal session titled "Will the European Health Data Space Fuel the Deployment of AI?". This session, organized by EIT Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will take place on June 5th from 13:35 to 14:05.
During this session, Prof. Ritter, alongside other distinguished panelists, will explore the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and its crucial role in accelerating AI development within healthcare. Prof. Ritter will provide insights into the TEF-Health project, illustrating how EHDS acts as a catalyst for AI innovation and transforms healthcare delivery. Attendees will learn about the challenges and opportunities in cross-border collaboration and the development of AI-based healthcare solutions, drawing from detailed reports by EIT Health and examples like TEHDAS and TEF-Health.
