Automatic sign-out

For your security, the TEF-Health Platform signs you out automatically after a period of inactivity. This protects your account if you step away from a shared or unattended device.

How it works

  • After 30 minutes with no activity, your session ends and you are signed out.
  • The timer resets whenever you do something — opening a page, clicking, or submitting a form all count as activity — so you are only signed out once you have been genuinely idle.
  • It applies everywhere you are signed in: your dashboard and portal pages, the public website, and the back-office.

What you'll see

The next time you click or open a page after the timeout, you are taken back to the sign-in screen.

Just sign in again

Signing back in returns you to where you were — you keep access to your applications, service requests, and profile.

Filling in a long form?

Typing into a form does not count as activity until you save or submit it. For longer forms — such as a call application — save your progress now and then, so an automatic sign-out never costs you unsaved work.
